In the midnight on the New Year’s Eve, people make the wishes for good luck in the future and forget bad things in the past when the clocks are striking twelve. The styles of making the wishes are different form the country. In Ireland,people are hitting the walls and doors of their houses with bread. In Spain and Mexico,people are eating the twelve grapes in twelve second i.e one for luck in each of the coming months. In the other hand, others are expressing with color to make them luck. For Brazilians, they wear the specific color like white(peace),yellow (success) and red (love). In China, people believe red brings the good things for them. So, they use the red color for dressing, decorating and the color of the envelope for giving money to others. Another culture is destroying the things . In Ecuador and Colombia, they burn the dummies which is filled with old clothes have the mask and the name of their family member or friends. The last one is very unusual from the other country.
