Changes in my neighbourhood

1. I am going to write about what kinds of jobs men and women have had in my country. Firstly, I shall compare the situation five years ago with the current situation. In the old days, men were primarily engaged in sectors like agriculture, construction, factory work, and transportation, while women were more involved in domestic work, weaving, and small-scale trading. When I was young, I dreamed of becoming an engineer because of the trend at that time. People who were surrounding me said that when you grow up, men could only work in engineering fields while women could be doctors or nurses. I didn't know much about employment in the past. Most of the jobs were full-time jobs. As the raise of the Digital technolgy and the internet, change the market of the job. Now, both men and women can do digital markets instead of physical market. We can also work as a freelancer: who offers services to clients, often working on a project or contract basis. If you are proficient in your skill , you can teach, share and work as a freelancer. When it comes to information technology, the opportunities for both men and women have greatly expanded. Nowadays, we can work remotely form our home. That can lead to reduce time consuming commutes and allows for a better work-life balance.
